The course is for students who are able to read and write in at least one language. The course focuses on reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar, with the goal of preparing students to use English for everyday life. The program provides the skills necessary for daily living and employment, as well as the basics to enter a GED (General Educational Development) program.
